Nikhil’s Vision (Adult Amblyopia- Lazy Eye) restored from 6/36 to 6/6. A inspiring journey

Nikhil Rana, a young male diagnosed with Amblyopia (Lazy Eye), visited Visual Eyez after being told at several places that nothing could be done for his condition. At presentation, his vision in the amblyopic eye was 6/36 with glasses, while the other eye had normal vision (6/6). Even with glasses, the lazy eye did not improve beyond 6/24. He also experienced double vision, poor fixation and concentration, discomfort during reading beyond 30 minutes, and a mild exo-deviation. These issues significantly affected his confidence, as he primarily relied on one eye for daily activities. However, after just 40 days of vision therapy at Visual Eyez, Nikhil showed remarkable progress—achieving 6/9 vision without glasses and 6/6 with glasses. His depth perception also improved significantly. He has now been prescribed a home therapy program for maintenance. All symptoms have resolved.
