Adult Amblyopia (Lazy Eye) was treated successfully at 23 years age achieving 6/6 & 6/12p in 20days

Yash a 23 year old age was diagnosed with lazy Eye over 10 years back and was suffering with Amblyopia. He was told it cannot be cured at this age. His focusing, concentration, and headaches were impacted and he was not aware of the fact that it all is due to his eye problem. He used to prefer to tilt his head to see clearly. Yash wanted to study abroad and vision was a big hindrance, he presented with a vision on 6/18p and 6/9, his Stereopsis was flat fusion. When he came to us he had only 20 days left to move abroad for higher studies, he was cursing himself why he got to know about Visual Eyez treatment so late but still he wanted to give a try two sessions a day so at least he can achieve some good vision. In just 20 days of in office therapy he could achieve 6/12p and other eye became 6/6. His Stereopsis came to 200 sec of Arc. All his symptoms subsided and there’s a sence of comfort and confidence he gained. We have now given him the most advanced VR based home therapy for maintenance.
