AMBLYOPIA
(Pediatric/Adult) without patching

Before patching was only thing what was done but the newer approach is Vision therapy. Now it is an individualized supervised treatment program designed to correct visual motor and or/perceptual cognitive deficiencies

Age Group Affected Globally

AMBLYOPIA THERAPY “LAZY EYE”

The sessions include procedures designed to enhance the brain’s ability to control and emphasizes upon binocular vision development through visual information processing system and improves
  • Eye Alignment
  • Eye tracking and eye teaming
  • Eye focusing abilities
  • Eye movements
  • Visual processing

We look beyond the person’s acuity needs and assess how a vision problem is affecting a person’s functional tasks and see how the visual system is or aren’t interacting with “the other senses and if there were developmental lags.”
We examine a patient to see if there is a “visual processing disorder” which is affecting other systems such as motor coordination and balance.
