The Cure for Lazy Eye (Adults Amblyopia) NO Surgery, NO Medicine, No Patching

Anita Mehra, a 25+ years old patient from Hisar, Visited Visual Eyez Center at Noida with diagnosed as Lazy Eye since she was in class 10th standard. Despite of all efforts she was told nothing can be done at this age. In early days she was advised for Patching but she wasn’t comfortable doing that due to her boards. She was not confident if it will be cured as most major eye Centre’s of country had said nothing can be done in adults. Despite of the fact knowing it doesn’t seem to believe that Adults Amblyopia can be cured, she wanted to try after meeting Dr. Rajeev Prasad in early July. She made mind after 3 months to give a try and started therapy at Visual Eyez Gurgaon center. Her presented vision in 6/6 in better eye and 6/24p in lazy eye. Within one month of therapy she was 6/15p and in second follow-up end she was 6/12p. Today after 2.5 months of therapy she is finally now 6/6 partial in lazy in LogMar chart single line and 6/6 in better eye. Crowding is still a challenge with her and hope in coming days that too will be clear. Her stereo Acuity has improved to 100 sec of Arc from 400 sec of Arc. She will now be getting home Maintainence therapy for next 6 months and regular follow up.
